There are many different ways to lucid dream. One thing to

dream will not necessarily work for everyone. Lucid dreaming
is a technique and can take time to learn and become good act.
There are many ways to make lucid dreaming happen and it is a
matter of trying the different ways and seeing which one works
best for you. Over time you will develop ways and may even
change some of these suggestions to fit your needs. Becoming
familiar with all the ways that lucid dreaming can happen will
make you more versatile at it and you will always have a
backup plan when your usual ways are not working.
Prior to learning to lucid dream you will want to begin
writing your dreams down, creating a dream journal. Doing this
will help you to begin to remember the dreams you are having,
you cannot lucid dream if you cannot even remember the dreams
you’re in. Keeping a dream journal also helps you to start
documenting symbols and reoccurring themes that are taking
place in your dreams. This will help when you are lucid
dreaming. You will have questions readily available that you
will want to ask and find out about.
Always stay relaxed prior to going to sleep and while
dreaming. Once you become conscious in your dream you may
become excited or nervous and this may make you stop lucid
dreaming or for you to wake up. Stay calm and begin repeating
to yourself that you want to stay lucid. While doing this
either look at your hands or grab onto something close to you.
Making a connection in the dream will keep you in the dream
and take your focus off the fact that you are lucid dreaming
for a moment. It will also help to calm you down.
Once you are familiar with lucid dreaming you can begin trying
out other techniques like:
MILD which is used when you have just awoken from a dream and
want to reenter it. Remember as much as you can about the
dream, stay relaxed, and visualize re-entering your dream

Again stay relaxed, begin repeating that you are dreaming,
begin walking down stairs or through doors to your dream, and
then you will enter your dream. This is more difficult to do
and will take more practice. Already well versed in lucid
